Cake
Our wedding cake is being made by my baking-talented sister-in-law-to-be. It will be red velvet and buttercream iced. Each tier will have a purple ribbon wrapped around the bottom & fiction purple daisies will "bloom" from all over.
Since we are incorporating New Orleans flair into our wedding we will also be making traditional charm pulls for the cake when my future sister in law comes up for a visit in the next few weeks.

Cake Testing & Trial
Our cake is going to be 3 tiers but my wonderful sister in law made this for me for my birthday to not only let us taste the flavors but see a sample of the decorations!!! It was beautiful as well as delicious! This is the same as it will be on my wedding day. Complete with ribbon wrapped layers, our monogram on the middle tier, daisies scattered about each layer, and the beautiful hand piped fleur-de-lis all over the cake! Thank you Andrea!!!
